BingX, a leading multi-asset trading platform serving a global community of 40 million users, today launched US stock trading with extended hours and overnight sessions.1 The launch is powered by Alpaca, a global leader in agent-first brokerage and clearing infrastructure.
With the release, BingX expands its platform capabilities to include access to eligible US-listed equities alongside its existing digital asset offerings. We recently spoke with Kevin Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at BingX, about the launch.
The road to an AI-native, multi-asset platform
BingX began as a crypto exchange in 2018 with a focus on making trading more accessible. In 2019, the company became the first crypto exchange to introduce copy trading, giving users a way to follow the trading activity of other platform users.2 Since then, BingX has expanded both their product range and their global presence, growing into a community of 40 million users.
In 2026, BingX announced its strategic evolution into a multi-asset trading platform and will further its strategy through "Connect Markets. Unlock Opportunities.", bringing crypto and traditional markets together through an integrated trading experience.3
“We bring our mission to life through four pillars: being User-Centric, Trustworthy, Evolving, and Inspiring,” added Lee. “Being user-centric means building around our users’ needs, from a connected trading experience to responsive support and services tailored to different trading journeys. Being trustworthy means earning confidence through security, transparency, and reliable operations, supported by measures such as our 100% Proof of Reserves and $150 million Shield Fund. Evolving means continuously improving our products and broadening access across asset classes. Inspiring means helping users see what is possible through market insights, AI-powered tools, educational resources, and innovation. Together, these pillars shape both who we build for and how we serve them.”
One market view across asset classes and time zones
The launch marks the next step in BingX’s evolution into a multi-asset trading platform.

“Onchain and traditional markets are increasingly influenced by the same forces, from monetary policy and economic developments to technology trends and investor sentiment,” explained Lee. “Offering a broader choice of assets is how we help users act on those connections.”
US equities also provide a way to invest in companies and industries shaping the global economy, adding another dimension to how eligible users can participate in market developments. As part of the launch, BingX has also enabled extended-hours trading, making it easier for eligible users in supported jurisdictions to trade during hours that work for them.

“For a global user base, market access is also a question of timing,” added Lee. “Regular US trading hours can fall late in the evening or overnight for users in other regions, making it difficult to follow the market and participate during their typical day. Extended-hours trading, including overnight sessions, can give users greater flexibility to engage with the market at times that fit their lives and respond to developments outside the regular US sessions.”
For BingX, that flexibility supports the broader goal of connecting users with global opportunities.
With the launch, BingX can now offer their users:
- Access to eligible US-listed stocks directly inside the BingX platform
- 24/5 trading of eligible US equities, including extended hours and overnight sessions, subject to applicable trading restrictions and market conditions
- View and manage supported digital assets/markets through a unified BingX interface
“US stock trading complements our existing ecosystem of products at BingX,” said Lee. “Our integration with Alpaca expands the range of investment objectives we can support and makes equity investing a natural next step in our multi-asset offering. ”
Why BingX chose Alpaca
BingX selected Alpaca because its brokerage infrastructure and APIs support the access BingX required for their platform. The integration is complementary for both companies. BingX provides their trading platform, global community, and understanding of how users trade, while Alpaca provides the regulated securities brokerage and clearing infrastructure supporting access to eligible US-listed stocks. That fits BingX’s strategy of bringing more markets within reach while keeping the customer experience integrated within the platform users already understand.

“For us, the priority was making US stock access a coherent part of the BingX experience,” said Lee. “The integration serves a clear purpose by helping eligible users access another major market through the platform they already use. That shared goal gives our collaboration with Alpaca its direction. It is an important step in our broader work to connect crypto and traditional markets and support more of our users’ investment needs.”

“BingX has grown a global community around digital assets, and their users are now looking for access to traditional markets from the same place,” said Yoshi Yokokawa, Co-Founder and CEO of Alpaca. “We engineer our brokerage infrastructure so partners like BingX can expand into new asset classes without re-engineering the regulated layer underneath. Supporting BingX as they open US equities to users across time zones is the kind of access we are excited to set out to enable.”
What comes next for BingX and Alpaca
BingX will measure this launch against three initial metrics: first-time traders, unique traders, and trading volume. These core metrics will help understand how many users take their first step into US stock trading on BingX, how broadly participation spreads, and level of trading activity.
Beyond those measures, BingX is working to understand where US equities fit into their users’ broader needs, with the goal of turning early adoption into sustained engagement.
The company is also evaluating additional Alpaca capabilities, including Fully Paid Securities Lending, for potential future implementation. BingX’s product plans are guided by their users, and Alpaca’s infrastructure will continue to support BingX’s work to expand into more asset classes and more regions.
