What hotels do you recommend for spending nights in Kyoto?
What hotels do you recommend for spending nights in Tokyo?
What kind of weather should I expect?
May is one of the best months to visit Kyoto, as the weather is pleasant and warm with temperatures ranging from 15Ā°C to 26Ā°C (59Ā°F to 79Ā°F). Mornings and evenings can be cooler, dipping to around 13Ā°C to 16Ā°C (55Ā°F to 61Ā°F).
What kind of clothes should I pack?
Our recommended packing list includes breathable clothes for the day and light sweaters or jackets for the evening. If you plan to explore the city, we also recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. While May is relatively dry, occasional showers can occur, so packing a small, foldable umbrella or a light rain jacket is a good idea.
