Rohit Mulani Appointed President of Alpaca Southeast Asia
Rohit Mulani steps into the role of President of Alpaca Southeast Asia, where he will lead Alpaca’s regional strategy, partnerships, and expansion.
Rohit is a co-founder and the former CEO of Gotrade, where he enabled retail investors in markets like Indonesia to access US equities for the first time. He also previously led the launch of TrustInvest at Trust Bank Singapore, building a digital wealth platform spanning mutual funds and US equities.
In his role as President, Southeast Asia, Rohit will:
- Lead Alpaca’s expansion strategy across Southeast Asia
- Build and deepen partnerships with regional fintechs and financial institutions
- Support regulatory engagement and market development
- Help scale Alpaca’s presence across key markets
His experience across both startup and bank-led environments positions him to guide Alpaca’s next phase of growth in APAC.
David Grant Joins as CEO of Alpaca Singapore
David Grant joins Alpaca as CEO of Alpaca Singapore, where he will lead the local operations in one of the region’s key financial hubs. David brings deep experience in brokerage infrastructure and global investing platforms. He most recently served as CEO of Asia at DriveWealth, where he supported financial institutions with Brokerage-as-a-Service solutions. He also co-founded Gotrade alongside Rohit, contributing to its brokerage operations as COO.
As CEO of Alpaca Singapore, he will:
- Lead Alpaca’s Singapore business and local strategy
- Strengthen relationships with partners and institutions
- Oversee development of scalable, compliant brokerage infrastructure
- Support Alpaca’s broader expansion across APAC
- Build and scale our local team with top-tier talent
His experience across both infrastructure and product-driven platforms brings a strong foundation for executing Alpaca’s mission and vision in the region.
